Melissa Oakley: Animation and Editing
This piece brought an 4'x8' sculpture panel to life with projection mapping.
Once the sculpture was built, it was propped upright in front of our projector. We then took digital measurements of each of the triangles on the sculpture to create a template for animation.
Melissa then got to work on the animation which she synced to a piece of music. The piece existed as a light installation and this video representation of the piece was edited to function as the introduction to the showcase.
